http://workngsd.com/more-dogs Over one hundred thirteen years ago my father Robert, together with his parents, brothers and sisters, settled in the beautiful Skagit Valley of Washington State after immigrating from Ireland a few years before. They applied their knowledge of potato farming to Skagit Valley’s temperate climate and superior soils with great enthusiasm and determination.

Four generations later, Wallace Farms continues to thrive in the Skagit Valley, growing and distributing the finest quality potatoes available to North America's premier distributors and grocers. The same spirit that my grandfather took to cultivate a new land lives on in the culture and values of our farm. Our  business  has adapted to the needs of our customers with state-of-the-art growing and supply chain systems, sustainable agricultural practices, environmental stewardship and cutting-edge organic farming methods.

requip klonopin 5mg My brother Dick Wallace and I started farming in the early 1950's. Although we had grown up farming with our father and uncles who had owned a fairly large farm, we had just 14 acres between the two of us. We each had a job outside of farming  and we had no full-time employees. Farming for us was an adventure.

I look at our farm today with pride because I remember the  struggles along the way and the friends we made. Today we have a wonderful group of employees - most of whom have been with us for more than 20 years. We sell our potatoes to customers throughout the US and Canada. Most importantly, we are still having fun.

An Irish Blessing

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
The rain fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
